On January 30th, the production team behind “Thalapathy 67” officially revealed the details of the highly anticipated film. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring Vijay in the lead role, the movie began filming on January 2nd. The music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, as stated in the press release that also introduced the entire cast and crew.
The movie makers have also released a video of the Thalapathy 67 Poojai ceremony held in Chennai. In attendance were director Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vijay, Trisha, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Director Pushkar and Karthik Subbaraj. The video, which is 1 minute long, shows Trisha looking stunning in a cream-white saree.

The film stars Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Sandy, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Mathew Thomas, and Arjun Sarja. The technical team includes DOP Manoj Paramahamsa, Action Director Anbariv, Editor Philomin Raj, Art Director N Sathees Kumar, and Choreographer Dinesh.
