Mrunal Thakur has made a name for herself in the South film industry with her standout performance in “Sita Ramam.” She is currently eagerly waiting for the release of the Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi film “Selfiee,” in which she has a cameo appearance. In addition, she has been cast as the leading lady in Nani’s upcoming project “Nani 30.” There are also reports that Mrunal will have a role in Suriya’s “Suriya 42.”
Suriya’s 42nd film, helmed by Siruthai Siva, is expected to be a period piece. Rumors are Suriya will portray multiple characters across different time periods, and Mrunal is believed to play his partner in the historical segments. Although official confirmation from the production is yet to be received, it’s rumored that Mrunal Thakur will start filming her parts in February’s upcoming shooting schedule.
Suriya 42, directed by Siruthai Siva, is expected to wrap up shooting by March or April 2023. This highly anticipated period film will be available in 10 languages and is being made in two parts. With music by Devi Sri Prasad, the movie features an all-star cast including Suriya, Disha Patani, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, and Redin Kingsley in supporting roles.
